Group Classes

Group classes are a vital part of your training journey with your dog, allowing for weekly support from both your instructor and your classmates.

We offer several classes in indoor and outdoor locations in Corvallis and Albany.

Currently offering:

  • Quick, one-time sessions to focus on single skills! No prerequisites. Dogs must be comfortable around other dogs and people at a distance of 30’.

  • Starter skills for pups and people! This is a great first class for a new dog or young puppy. Learn the language of marker training, read your dog’s body signals, & build their desire to engage with you!

    Skills covered: eye contact, touch, stand, down, settle/mat & introduction to props (harness, nail clippers, etc), & more!

  • Building on the foundation skills your dog has, this class is held outdoors and is specifically aimed at success around distractions.

    Targeted skills include leash walking, recall, stay & interactions with people & dogs.

    Foundation skills, Level 1 completion not necessary, but dogs & handlers must have familiarity with marker & positive reinforcement training.

  • Advanced class with titles!

    Take your dog's basic skills to the next level and help him or her become the best brewery buddy ever! Teaching your dog good brewery manners is the best thing you can do to keep breweries dog-friendly.

    Certified Brewery-Friendly Dog Titles (earned via completion of this class) are a fun way to structure your training!

  • It’s our very own canine social club!

    Enjoy weekly opportunities to practice our version of a Pack Walk. We utilize rehearsed protocols and predictable outcomes to enhance your dog’s social skills.

  • Socialization class for the reactive dog. Initial Consultation Required.

    This class is specifically designed to prepare dogs for other group classes or public access in general. Emphasis is placed on making space for the dogs to make their own good choices.

  • Advanced class. Dogs must be comfortable working around other dogs indoors in close proximity. Handlers & dogs must have an understanding of & regularly use marker/clicker training.

    Strengthen your communication skills with your dog through choice-based training centered around hygiene skills. Teach them to accept procedures like nail trimming, brushing, and wound care happily!

    Instructor Approval Required

    Class is held at the West Hills Healing Center in Corvallis.
