Providing the right opportunities at the right time for your puppy can be tricky. We offer socialization opportunities for young puppies in safe, temperature controlled & clean environments, utilizing play, treats & praise to cement positive experiences.
Youngest puppies (8wks.-16wks.): Puppy Play
Held at the Valley Wags Training center in Corvallis at 4pm on Sundays, these sessions provide direct instructions for guardians to practice socialization in public & implement active structure at home. Puppies encounter novel surfaces & sounds in class as well as other puppies & people. These experiences are tailored to the puppy’s comfort level, and are paired with treats, praise, & play.
It takes a village to raise a puppy! We are committed to fostering an atmosphere that promotes learning & community. As such, our classes are kept small and are limited to six puppies per session.
*vaccinations required: first round of distemper
A typical Puppy Play session
Older puppies, (16wks. - 20wks.): Puppy Training
This class is for the puppies who get overexcited or frustrated by play time and are ready to work on focusing and settling. Every session practices the same themes, with different exercises each time to keep things interesting. Themes include Marker Intro/Practice, Stationing, Handler Focus, & Handling.
Consistency in training a puppy is important! Puppy Training is only offered as a 4-consecutive week package. One reschedule is allowed.
Held at the Valley Wags Training Facility in Corvallis most Sundays at 5:15pm.

Puppy Play Care, 16wks - 7mos., 3 hrs., $115
Take a break from your puppy and drop them off for three hours of training & socializing! Several Valley Wags instructors are on hand to keep the ratio of puppies to instructors low (maximum, 4:1).
During a Play Care session, puppies will be matched with puppies of similar temperaments. Then, they practice settling, body control, social skills and listening skills.

Puppy Booster! 30min., $35
Register to have Kimia, our Puppy Specialist, help with early puppy skills in and out of the home. She can help your puppy have calm, positive experiences at the time in their life when they need it most!
Kimia has been participating in the puppy raising program with Guide Dogs for the Blind for the last 5 years and just got started with her most recent Guide Dog puppy, Ribbon!
