Out & About!

A unique take on the “pack walk”, offering group outings in local parks & shops, private fenced fields, and hikes in the woods.

The focus for these sessions is to, at all times, provide maximum opportunities for your dog to coexist happily & comfortably with other dogs and people at the distance of their choosing. We favor desensitization & choice protocols, utilizing obedience skills when necessary.

Dogs start with private lessons or take one of our skills classes to learn the necessary skills and protocols that are then practiced in the Out & About! sessions.

We meet regularly, with little regard to weather (while still staying safe). Wear sunscreen in the summer and rain boots & coats in the winter!

All Out & About! sessions cost $30. Looking to book multiple sessions? We offer a 10% discount on a package of four!

  • Gain tools to apply in your Out & About! group walks! Protocols around common themes include: calming down, greeting people, accessing smells, and greeting dogs will be taught using clicker training and the Premack principle. Not appropriate for fearful or reactive dogs.

Public parks offer lots of distractions while remaining easily accessible.
